Porthleven
I discovered Porthleven around 1995 . I fell in love with the place and made it my home in 2000. Porthleven is a quant picture postcard Cornish fishing village and yet its soul has not been ripped out by tourism or an influx of new money . We have 3 great pubs all serving decent food and beer, we have a excellent cross section of places to wine and dine from the fish and Chip shop to award winning modern restaurants . I regard this village as one of Cornwall best kept secrets.
Sunset Cottage
Sunset Cottage is located just on the outskirts of Porthleven, The house is a large detached family property surrounded by national trust farmland, we enjoy sea views from the south elevation. The house is a 10 minute walk from the Atlantic Inn pub where many of my clients will eat a meal in the evening along with a few beers.
We have a vary large open plan Kitchen / Living area and the guest room is adjacent to this area. The guest room has two single beds. The washroom is downstairs close by and the Bath/ Shower room is upstairs.
Adding Bed and Breakfast facilities in 2011 gave my guide bookings are real boost . I have always had lots of late bookings over the years and finding accommodation in the Summer can be tricky during peak times. I keep the rates very reasonable to encourage clients to book a trip bass fishing with me in Cornwall. This is a family home and we do have a couple of lovely children aged 3 and 7 , they are lovely while we have guests anyway !

Breakfasts
If we head out late mornings then we have a full cooked breakfast , if we hare heading out early then we tend to have a simple breakfast , cereals, toast , tea coffee etc
Single occupancy rate £ 35 per night
Double occupancy rate £ 25 per night
Terms and conditions
A Deposit will be requested at the time of making a booking. Full payment should be made on the day or in advance. Any cancelled charter within 6 weeks of the agreed date will result in the loss of deposit . If the charter is cancelled by the skipper the deposit will be refunded in full.
